Academic Professor
Dr. Xiangping Li is an Academic Professor at the College of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology (SDUST), China. She received her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology) in 2014.
Her research focuses on biomass energy utilization, micro-mesoporous material synthesis, catalytic hydrodeoxygenation of bio-oil, hydrogen production via aqueous phase reforming, and biochar-based materials for energy storage and pollutant control. She has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), including a General Program and a Youth Program, and has served as a key contributor to multiple national key R&D initiatives.
Dr. Li has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers in high-impact journals such as Journal of Catalysis, Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Fuel, including ESI highly cited papers. She holds several authorized invention patents and has received provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, including the Second Prize of Shandong Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress Award.
She is an active member of the Chinese Chemical Society and the Chinese Society of Chemical Science and Technology, serves as a review expert for provincial innovation programs, and acts as a peer reviewer for more than 20 international journals. She also serves on the editorial boards of Green Carbon, Biochar X, and Journal of Shandong University of Science and Technology (Natural Science Edition).
